Nayon
The main setting of the novel, located near Sangandaan. This is where Amelita and Mauro live with their daughter, as well as where the school they teach at is located. Most of the events in the story take place in the Nayon.
Other locations mentioned include Manila, where Amelita’s siblings live and work, and the United States of America, where Osmundo moved to.
While the time is variable, depending on the publication, the 150-page novel was published and set in the late 1980s to early-mid 1990s.
